Free FAE Conference Planned for CPAs in Industry, Government and Academia

The Foundation for Accounting Education (FAE) is currently in the planning stages for a Professional Issues Update Conference in December that will be offered free of charge to NYSSCPA members in industry, government and academia, a new program added specifically for these members.

The event will review major accounting and auditing changes over the past year with particular attention to issues of concern to CPAs outside public accounting firms.

The conference, however, will only be available to those whose dues are up to date, with those who have not paid their dues being blocked from registering. For everyone else, though, they will be able to get eight continuing professional education credits, completely free of charge, and a great update on issues affecting CPAs by attending this conference. Be sure to check the FAE's website regularly for further details about this upcoming event.
